Grand Ridge Police Department Mission Statement:

The mission of the Grand Ridge Police Department is to provide high quality professional police services with fairness, honesty, integrity and pride. The police department works in partnership with the community to ensure a safe and secure place to live, work and visit.

Important information Regarding Public Safety and Police Service Response:

Although we try very hard at the Grand Ridge Police Department to have officers readily available, we are a part-time agency and sadly we cannot always guarantee someone will be on duty. However, your safety is still our number one priority and that is why we have partnered with the La Salle County Sheriff’s Office to assist when GRPD staff is unavailable.

To increase public safety efforts and assure adequate police response, GRPD urges citizens to report all incidents to LaSalle County Dispatch Center. Dispatch will ensure officers respond and assist you in a timely manner.
